ArtSpace artists are HomeFront clients who have been impacted by homelessness and poverty or have experienced trauma from abuse. Most are self-taught, and many discover their creative spirit for the first time through their participation in our programming. ArtSpace creates a calm welcoming environment where individuals can express themselves, unpack their trauma, and build their confidence through the creative process.
This healing experience proves beneficial for the many individuals we serve. ArtSpace works closely with the artists to develop exhibitions like this one, to show our artists the possibilities and doors that can be opened through creativity. We invite you to join us in celebrating the work of our artists in this show, which is focused on themes of growth. The opening reception will be held Friday April 11 th from 5pm-6:30pm.
